Discovery Bay has been a home away from home for my twins! Immediately when getting in their car seats the always ask to go back. The staff has been so great with potty training and helping them find what to say rather than their typical pointing. Sweetest group of girls who do more than just watch kids. The kids absolutely adore your facilities and care providers! Every teacher that ALL 3 of my kids have had at Discovery really harbors a friendly and personal relationship with my kids. Being back to work full time it is really assuring knowing that my kids are with teachers that genuinely enjoy spending time with my children. Teachers that comfort them when they need comforting, inspire self confidence in each child of my kids in the ways that are specific to each of their needs and importantly instilling good manners and kindness to others. I just love the learning curriculum and feel like my kids are coming home from "daycare" having learned something new regularly.  

You guys really are the best!

I enrolled my first grade son at Discovery Kids last year for after school care and tutoring. After two years of pre-school and a year of kindergarten he was struggling to read and barely knew his letters and sounds. Fast forward one school year.......by the end of first grade and one year of tutoring (about 3 days a week) at Discovery Kids he has progressed from reading 3 wpm to 83 wpm (benchmark for the end of first grade is 53). I can't thank Karen and Discovery Kids enough for all of their efforts and support of my son. This was the best thing we could have done to help him. The after school program and facilities are great. I can highly recommend Discovery Kids for any child that needs afterschool care or tutoring.

I am so impressed every time I go to Discovery Kids. The different activities get every child involved no matter their interest. The staff are so loving and the children never want to go home! This is the best place any child could be to learn, discover and have fun. It's comforting to know that my child isn't just at a daycare where they play all day, but at a school where they keep learning for the rest of their day while having fun. Every family should come here!

Both my five and seven year old daughters have attended Discovery Kids and Discovery Bay for over a year and have loved every minute of it! The summer shows and camps were educational and so much fun for them both. My five year old has always been a bit shy, but now she is doing solos and has made a lot of friends. My seven year old’s favorite part is ‘the forest’ because she loves being outside in nature and science. The staff are so helpful, willing to work with me and loving to my children. I’m always hearing about ‘Miss Karen’ and ‘Miss Jessica’ at Discovery Kids and the other wonderful staff at Discovery Bay. With their high qualifications and education, I know my children are learning every day and having a blast. They are getting so much more than just what they can just get at school. It is a wonderful addition to their day!
